Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a good weekend!  Ours was pretty laid back & nothing too exciting.  Curtis & his dad installed a garage door opener so we will be able to use the garage more often, especially if it snows really bad.  I also did some Christmas shopping & hit up the gym per usual!

Doing |  Training our foster pup!  She has made some progress since we got her two weeks ago.  Sure, she still has a long ways to go as we are trying to fix 6 years worth of behaviors but we’re hopeful that she will be adopted someday.  (I plan on writing an update on her this week!).

Enjoying |  Reading!  I think I’ve read more books the past few weeks than I have in the past five years.  Yikes!  I used to love reading but it really fell to the way side once I graduated college & started working full time.  Instead of staying up to watch TV every night, I’ve been picking up a book instead which has been a nice change of pace.

Cooking |  We’ve been making lots of cream cheese chicken chili lately!  I would share one of my pictures but it really doesn’t look that appetizing, haha.   It’s super easy to make (not to mention cheap) and we have meals for the next two days.

Wrapping |   Nothing yet.  Our tree looks so bare right now!  I’ve been failing miserably at Christmas shopping this year.  November just seemed to fly by & Christmas wasn’t even a thought.  No worries though, we have gotten a few gifts for people so we’re not slacking that bad.

Playing |   The new Metallica album– Hardwired… To Self Destruct.  I’m an old lady & still buy CDs so I picked this up the day it went on sale.  I’m crossing my fingers & hope that they decide to do an American tour now that they released this new album.  We almost got tickets to their show in Minneapolis this past summer but we had just bought our house so that’s where our money went instead.  Otherwise, they haven’t been in Omaha since 2008 so it’s time for another concert!

Have a great week everyone!  Linking up with Anne & Kellie!

I can’t wait to hear more about your fostering of that dog. So cute! I made a huge dent in our wrapping last night. I have to start now, so I have time to do it all. Plus putting together toys and bikes. Yikes. Have a great week!

Our foster pup has definitely kept us on our toes the past two weeks! Go you for getting all of that wrapping done! 🙂
