Hello Friday!

TGIF!

I am SO ready for the weekend again.  Work has been a little more stressful than usual but I just put in for a nice long vacation at the beginning of June which is well overdue.

I am starting to feel like a zombie since we have been letting Sophie sleep with us at night.  She has decided she wants to party every night at 12:30am.  And then 4:30am.  And then 6:30am.  By party I mean moving around, scratching the edge of the bed, and crying because she’s thirsty but too scared to jump off.  So she wakes me up so I can put her down on the floor.  I think sleeping in the kennel is a thing of the past as we have tried putting her in it at night but she barks her head off.  She has been officially adopted but I still don’t have a date of when she will be leaving.  The lady that adopted her was going out of town for awhile but would be back sometime soon.  I don’t think it will be much longer!  🙁

She does this half-sploot thing and it’s so adorable!

We have been having some awful weather lately so I had to put away my dresses for a minute.  We finally had a nice day yesterday so I had to bust out the high neck dress I ordered from Walmart a few weeks ago.  (I know, Walmart…  but their dresses are so cute!).  P.S.  I really need to get a dresser.  I’ve been using that book shelf to hold all of my pants + workout clothes ever since we moved into our house last August!

Speaking of new things, I’ve been a huge fan of these products lately.  Since Herbal Essences seemed to have stopped making my beloved shampoo, this looked like the next best thing.  So far, I love it!  I think even more than my original favorite.  This stuff makes my hair feel super clean, even on day 2 or 3 of not washing.  I normally don’t buy body spray from Bath & Body Works but I had a 20% off coupon and this scent is AMAZING.  I might have to go back for the rest of the line!  As for the face wash, I can’t say that my pores are that much smaller but this stuff takes my makeup off way better than any cream cleanser I’ve used before.  Lastly, the Tanwise lotion was something new I picked up a few weeks ago and I feel like it’s pretty comparable to the Jergens Natural Glow gradual tanning lotion.  But the color from this lotion is so much better!

We don’t have much planned for this weekend.  Curtis is playing softball again on Friday evenings this year so I might go to the game tonight.  And then a birthday party tomorrow afternoon.  Other than that, I’m looking forward to a low key weekend which hopefully includes some much needed sleep!  Have a great weekend everyone!

Linking up with Andrea, Erika, Narci, Amanda, and April!

Let me know what you think! I usually put it on at night as it’s a little greasier than Jergens but still looks good!
