Favorite Makeup & Beauty Products

Happy Thursday!

As much of a product hoarder that I am, I don’t think I’ve ever done a post on my favorites!  A lot of these products are ones that I use on a daily basis as part of my regular routine.  These are the things that I will purchase over & over again!   Note:  Affiliate links are used throughout this post.

Revlon Colorstay Foundation // It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye Concealer

I’ve tried other foundations in the past but I always go back to this one!  I use medium beige since I use self tanner & feel like it matches really well.  The concealer is totally worth the price over the drugstore concealers.  I’m cursed with dark purple circles under my eyes and this stuff covers it up so well.

MAC ‘Desert Rose’

I’ve had this blush for longer than one should probably keep blush but as you can see, I have a lot of product left!  I use this almost daily which is crazy that there is quite a bit in there.  This was a replacement for my beloved Rimmel blush that they discontinued as it was the closest in color.

Too Faced Chocolate Bar // Urban Decay Naked 2 // Maybelline Rock Nudes // ELF Baked Eyeshadow ‘Bark’

I love love love these three palettes although they aren’t something I use every single day.  I’ve had the Naked 2 palette since it came out & have to use some of the colors sparingly otherwise I will use them all up!  As for the ELF eyeshadow, I actually despise most baked cosmetics but I absolutely love this color.  Once you work past the top layer of this which has zero pigmentation, it is actually a beautiful dark taupe that lasts all day.

Not pictured:   Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeliner –  I have been using this stuff for YEARS and love it!  I’ve tried other eyeliners but they don’t compare.

This post wouldn’t be complete without mentioning my favorite self tanners.  To say I’m obsessed is a bit of an understatement!

Sun Goddess is probably my favorite “high end” self tanners.  I consider it high end since it’s almost $40 per bottle but you can usually find some discount codes online.  It’s a more of a gel consistency and does have some glitter in it which washes off once your shower after the tan has set.  So don’t worry, you’re not walking around with glitter skin!

Tanwise is my favorite “cheap” self tanner.  It runs about $10 per bottle and lasts quite awhile.  The color is more medium than dark and the black licorice sent isn’t too terrible.   I will actually mix this lotion with the Sun Goddess lotion or Banana Boat to build the color.

You can check out my empties posts here & here for other favorites (and some not so favorite products).  Tell me about your tried & true products!

I’ve always wanted to get a Naked Palette, but I’m so dang cheap! I just started using Tarte Shape Tape concealer because I have the wonderful undereyes issues, too. So far it’s pretty nice!

Yes, I agree they are expensive! I think I bought that one with a gift card one year, haha. I’ve never heard of that concealer but I might need to give it a try!

I use the Naked 2 pallete almost every day. I saw a few people mentioning the Too Faced palletes, I’m going to have to check them out. Thank you for linking up with us! Beautifully Candid

I’ve had to cut back on using the palette because I am starting to run low on some of the shades! 🙁 Too Faced has some really nice colors & they are super pigmented too!

I love it! I’ve always used drugstore concealers so it was a little tough for me to justify the price but Ulta has a great return policy if you don’t like something. I’ve had that tube for about a year & still have quite a bit left so you don’t need very much! Too Faced has really nice stuff too. Their shadows are SO pigmented so it doesn’t take much!

I love it! I’ve had mine for years (I think shortly after it came out in stores) and still use it so it’s worth the price!
