I thought this was a fun topic for Show & Tell Tuesday as I don’t think I’ve ever shared anything about my phone before! My folders are looking a little bare because I removed a bunch of apps to make room on my phone for pictures while we were in St. Louis. And…. I haven’t gotten around to adding them back. Anywho, here is a list of my favorite apps!
Spotify is my life saver, especially during the work day. I’m thankful to be able to listen to music at work so I keep a playlist downloaded to my phone at all times (since we don’t have unlimited data womp womp). I also have to have music while I’m working out so I have certain playlists for the gym as well. Basically, I use this app more than anything else on my phone.
This one is pretty self explanatory. I am guilty of spending far too much time scrolling through my feed. I don’t post as much as I used to, mostly because I just don’t take very many pictures any more these days, but I enjoy seeing what everyone else posts!
I’m a sucker for nostalgic things so I love seeing what pops up every morning! It’s mostly entertaining for me to look back on all the crazy Facebook posts from like, 9 years ago, or random pictures from college.
If you enjoy HIT workouts, get this app! You can set it up however you want so it’s not always your basic 20 second on, 10 second off tabata. I use this almost every single time I do my own workouts at the gym.
I am not technology savvy at all. Since I have an iPhone, I downloaded a Cloud program so that my phone would sync to that but cannot figure it out for the life of me. My laptop is Windows so I use this app to get my pictures to my computer.
This is a fairly new app for me & I really enjoy it! If you’re not familiar with it, it’s basically an app for your neighborhood. Most of the people post about things they are selling, services (lawn care, etc.), or to alert people of break-ins or just plain weird things happening in the area. The down side is that it CAN show your address unless you have your settings updated which is something you have to manually go in to fix.
I’ve been using ShopKick (<– referral link) ever since I got an iPhone in 2012. It’s an easy way to earn some gift cards if you shop at those places regularly. I was able to get $50 off a brand new TV at Best Buy after redeeming a bunch of my points! Ibotta (<– referral link) is pretty similar but I can use our local grocery store rather than a big chain store. I like using it even though it’s been a rather slow process to earn enough rebates to be able to cash out.
Do you use any of these apps? What are some of your favorites?
